As seen in charts from the city’s own budget documents, Carson’s Begining Fund Balance, essentially its bank account, has dwindled from over $35 million in 2012, to less than $20 million this year.

In the City’s five year model as part of the budget adopted a few weeks ago, the city would be nearly $4.5 million in debt by 2022.
