The Olympic Games Are Returning to Carson!

Much has been made of the recent decision to award the 2028 Summer Olympic Games to Los Angeles, but few may have heard that numerous Olympic events will be held right here in the City of Carson.

Carson’s StubHub Center will host rugby, tennis, field hockey, track, cycling and the Modern Pentathlon.

It’s not the first time Carson has hosted the world at the Olympic Games. In 1984 the Olympic Velodrome was located on the campus of CSU Dominguez Hills. This was later replaced by the VELO Sports Center.

In 2015 the City of Carson was also a “Host Town” for a delegation of athletes participating in the 2015 Special Olympics.
