STOP THE TRUCK TAX!

The City of Carson has announced they considering placing new taxes on the November Ballot. There is a vital City Council meeting this Tuesday to decide about these possible taxes.

One of the options being discussed is a “Truck Tax”. We have no examples of other California cities imposing such a tax. Doing in Carson would surely drive businesses and jobs out of town.

This is the worst possible time to raise taxes on our local businesses as they struggle through the COVID economy and work to serve our residents.
