The City of Carson is holding a special election Nov. 2 to fill vacancies for City Clerk and City Council, District 4.

The terms for those seats end in 2022. The winners of this election could qualify to run for re-election next year for an additional four years.

The Council vacancy was created as a result of Lula Davis-Holmes’ election to Mayor in the November 2020 election.  The Clerk vacancy came about because Donesia Gause-Aldana accepted a similar position with the City of Riverside and effectively resigned as Carson City Clerk.
